Cliff Robertson - Hollywood legend cliff Robertson sits down for a moving and amazing journey of one actor's life through song. He reminisces about his life on film, his love of family, flying and music - from Frank Sinatra to Bernard Herrmann.
David Berger - Recognized internationally as a leading authority on the music of Duke Ellington and the Swing Era, David Berger also served as conductor and arranger for the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. He joins us in the studio to discuss his career as a bandleader from the early days of working with Donald Byrd, the Sultans of Swing band and as an educator of music. David plays some of the music that made an impression on him from his life in jazz.
Kerry Kearney - Guitarist/vocalist Kerry Kearney found his calling in the Blues after years of touring with Marty Balin of Jefferson Starship. He formed the Kerry Kearney Band in 1999 in New York and since then they've been fixtures at Blues festivals around the country, touring with everyone from Dickey Betts to the Allman Brothers. Get ready to rock with Kerry's own brand of blues and some of his favorites.
April Gornik - April Gornik is a celebrated landscape artist, whose work is part of the collections of museums across the country: the Whitney Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C., and many more. She was born in Cleveland, studied in Nova Scotia, and currently lives in New York. April takes some time with us this week to share a sample of her musical palette.
